1. Facial Redesign Assignment DUE!
Using all photos taken of yourself from various different angles, create a distorted depiction of yourself.
Using artist Kiki Smith as our example, here are the specs of this assignment:
- minimum of 12 photos that either you or I have taken of you, combined
- 300 dpi
- CMYK
- minimum of 14" x 11"
- When handed in, you will print this and mount on black matte board.
- Put a low resolution version of the assignment on your blog.
(PRINT at Staples, Kinkos, Office Max, Costco or here at school-
give yourself 2 days for some of these though!)
In Class:
We begin the a tutorial, using Photoshop more technically. We are going to look very specifically at how to beautifying a face. This is to counter act the harm we did in the prior assignment and to learn a very important and relivant skill ;)
A photograph will be take of you but that image will be shared with another student in the room.
